Testing
The so-called F/s characteristic curve shows the force of the actuator depending on current strength and stroke position. In F/I characteristic curves, we show the magnetic force depending on current in defined stroke positions. These diagrams also display the hysteresis of the actuators. The switching times of the solenoids are also determined during testing.
Our products, solenoid-driven valves, pumps, releasing devices and actuators are evaluated in terms of their robustness in vibration and shock tests, in temperature-change tests, in endurance tests, exposure tests and salt spray tests, as well as protection class tests with regard to specification fulfillment. Even the slightest noises and contaminations are evaluated in the acoustic laboratory and cleanliness laboratory.
The P/Q characteristic curves show the volume flow depending on current strength, connection pressure and working pressure. Other tests include the step response time measurement and measurement of internal leakage. The small signal behavior measurement records the influence of input signals on the product function.
Pumps are assessed in respect of their intake behavior and delivery behavior depending on pressure. The durability and robustness of our products are assessed in endurance tests, which also include current cycle tests and pressure cycle tests. And finally, the cited tests can also be performed throughout the temperature spectrum stated in the specification document.
