The future of mobile hydraulics: Thomas at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG & IFPE Las Vegas

Las Vegas, March 7-11, 2017 - Thomas Mobilhydraulik USA has exhibited at the International Fluid Power Exposition (IFPE) in the Las Vegas Convention Center for the fifth time, but for the first time on 37 m² and with a new stand concept.

According to the motto “Smart Mobile Hydraulics – Solutions in Electrohydraulic Control” Thomas presented forward-looking mobile hydraulics products and applications such as the directly operated pressure control valve PPCD08 (Proportional Pressure Control Direct-Operated). It is used for clutch control tasks in powershift transmissions for tractors, earthmovers, and crawlers in particular. The compact valve convinces, among others, with a flow rate of between 18 and 25 liters per minute as well as faster switching times (< 45 ms) than its pre-operated counterparts.

"Thomas successfully uses his expertise in the automotive sector for the off-highway sector and is thus an attractive development partner for mobile hydraulics products with performances at the highest level. At the IFPE, the entire industry meets for an exchange of experience. Our customers and partners were enthusiastic about our new stand, which provided an optimal platform for meetings and technical discussions," stated Mathew Alagna, CEO Thomas Magnete LLC USA.

The IFPE takes place simultaneously with CONEXPO-CON / AG, the most important American construction machinery fair and the world's third largest trade fair in the industry. About 128,000 visitors, including 26,000 international guests from 150 countries, took the opportunity to learn about innovations and trends in drive and control technology, parts, systems and control (hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, electrics) at the IFPE.
