At the beginning of 2018, Thomas launched the new P06 fuel pump family, which replaces the P32x metering pump and its variants. The new P06 combines proven technology with a new generation of pump – in Thomas‘s familiar metering quality. The electromagnetically operated reciprocating piston pump also impresses with its modular construction, particularly in view of the extended variance spectrum of flow rates. Therefore, it is capable of meeting customer requirements even better than its predecessor. Thomas has also employed state-of-the-art technology to enhance still further the excellent induction characteristics of the compact pump. The new P06 is suitable not only for all commonly used fuels but also for more aggressive biodiesel blends.
Thomas has pre-produced a limited quantity of the former P32x series in order to ensure that customers are given a six-month transition period. “Our customers were informed very early last year about the planned change-over from the existing P3xx family to the new P6xx line of products. Following SOP in the fourth quarter of 2017, customers can now order samples of the new fuel pump,” explains Markus Hillig, Head of Sales and Marketing for Exhaust Gas and Thermal Management at Thomas. “However, it is important that customers carry out their own system tests to ensure full functionality and that they provide us with pertinent data if required. This is the only way to ensure that Thomas can provide professional assistance and advice with regard to individual customer systems.” Feel free to contact Thomas if you have any queries!
